Welcome to new gallery artist Emma Stroude

John Collins Important Exhibition 21st February - 7th March

We are delighted to announce that John Collins will be showing this important body of new abstract works entitled "Pigtown - The wild watery heart of the city" which is inspired by Playwright Mick Finn's "Pigtown".

Straight from the Limerick City of Culture, this is the only opportunity to see this work in Northern Ireland.

Collins is a painter following in the tradition of many noteworthy native and adopted Irish painters including John Shinnors, Sean Scully, Donald Teskey, Barrie Cook and Hughie O'Donoghue in both talent and passion.

Work of varying sizes will be available to purchase. A unique opportunity to obtain an important piece of work.

Joshua Bevan " A Dance With Colour" 20th September- 4th October (Official opening 2.00pm)

Joshua Bevan will be holding his first solo exhibition at Gallery 1608 in Bushmills. Joshua is undoubtedly one of the most exciting new artists painting in Northern Ireland at the moment whose work has already been met with great acclaim by serious collectors of Irish Art. Although his work is primarily figurative, this exhibition balances the vibrant complexity of fishing boats and the intimacy of couples in street scenes with wonderful, cool abstract qualities. Many contemporary artists talk about the importance of their "process"
and their "artistic journey" and that the end result is almost
unimportant.  For Bevan, the end result is what is important and
memorable.
